Belt It Out....

Our new accessory love are these hand-woven belts from Alma Soul! They are made in Peru and it takes a weaver two days to make just one! The colors are fantastic and no two are the same.
Ofcourse, you know we YaYas love an excuse to shop and give at the same time SO you can feel good knowing Alma Soul donates a portion of their profits to Esperanza y Caridad, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, clothing, feeding a providing medical care to some of the poorest children in Peru!

Changing the World One Smile At a Time...

We love bringing a smile to people's faces and that is why YaYa Club is a BIG supporter of Smile Train! If you aren't familiar with them here is a lil snippet from their website:
"Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. Aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job. And face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache. The good news is every single child with a cleft can be helped with surgery that costs as little as $250 and takes as little as 45 minutes."
So everytime you leave YaYa with a smile on YOUR face know that YOUR purchase is helping put a smile on a child's face!!! http://www.smiletrain.org/

Heels with heart...

If you are like me you LOVE what TOMS stands for: every pair of shoes you purchase, TOMS will give a pair to a child in need. Yes, I have bought the silver glitter shoe but unlike my co-workers I do not have a baker's dozen yet...mostly because I am a heel girl all the way! You can see why I was THRILLED they came out with the new TOMS Calypso wedge! Apparently I am not the only one because we have the red stripe, yellow and black wedges in the stores and they are going fast!

Which makes me think, is there some sassy 5 year old in a developing country rockin some TOMS wedges now!?!
